BETTY JANE BRIDGERS, 74, of Tulsa, died Wednesday, November 8, 2006, in Southcrest Hospital in Tulsa.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Hope Worship Center in Broken Arrow with the Rev. Duane Brogdon officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Comanche Cemetery under direction of Hayhurst Funeral Home.
Betty Jane was born Oct. 28, 1932, in Farmers Branch, Texas, the daughter of Delbert D. and Emma Chambers Moore.
Betty was married to Joe Ervin Bridgers on Jan. 22, 1955, in Garland, Texas. He preceded her in death on May 4, 2001. She moved to Tulsa from Comanche five years ago.
She enjoyed crocheting, baking, ironing, board games, and she loved being with her family. She was a member of Praise Assembly in Comanche and Hope Worship Center in Broken Arrow.
Survivors include two daughters, Jewel and husband Tomm Edwards of Stillwater, and Linda and husband Gordon Dozier of McKinney, Texas; three sons, Joe and wife Elizabeth Bridgers, and Buddy Bridgers, all of Temple, and Butch and wife Samantha Bridgers of Tulsa; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, William and wife Sophie Moore of Pottsboro, Texas; and a sister-in-law, Alice Moore of Pharr, Texas.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Delbert Moore.
