James Lester Addison, 88, of Otterbein, died Thursday, June 16, 2016, at Cumberland Pointe Health Campus. He was born, September 15, 1927, in Lunsford, Arkansas, to the late Matte-Hermon & Delphia Annebell (Allen) Addison. He was a WWII & Korean War veteran serving in the United States Navy. He had worked as a tool & die maker for Boeing Aircraft. He married Betty M (Lauridsen) Addison, on March 15, 1979, in Wichita, Kansas; she survives. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing & gardening.

Surviving with his Wife, Betty Addison, are 2 Sons, Raymond (Debbie) Addison & Edward (Karen) Addison, Step-Daughter, Gailie (Ron) Jordan, 2 Step-Sons, Grant (Adina) Dyer & Kevin (Margaret) Dyer, 13 Grandchildren, 9 Great-Grandchildren, Sister, Christine & Brother, Earl Addison. Proceeded in death by 3 Brothers & 4 Sisters.

Visitation will be, Tuesday, June 21, 2016, from 9 AM until the time of services at 11 AM, at Shoemaker Funeral Home, Otterbein, with Chaplain Dwight Herin officiating. Burial will be at Battle Ground Cemetery.
