Gerald Edwin Leshovsky was born on December 18, 1914 in Munden,Kansas to William Norbert and Blanche Marie Leshovsky. He married Letta Garnetta Burns on March 2, 1940. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy and was stationed in the Aleutian Islands. Gerald and Garnetta had one daugher, Jari Lynn Leshovsky, born on December 8, 1946.
Gerald was preceded in death by his parents and by his wife, Garnetta. He was survived by his daughter, Jari Lynn Leshovksy Clements, of Lees Summit, Missouri and his brother, Irvin Kenneth Leshovsky of Helena, Montana. He was also survived by his Aunt Emma Svach Kennedy of Belleville, Kansas and Uncle Frank J. Leshosky of Kansas City, Missouri.
