CARROLL, Anne Folkes, born in Richmond on June 3, 1936, died September 29, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marshall G. Folkes Sr. and Lula D. Folkes; and her first husband, Juan R. Anderson Jr. Survivors include her husband, Paul R. Carroll; children, Cabell A. Miltenberger and her husband, Bryan, and Juan R. Anderson III and his wife, Laura; grandchildren, Bryan J. Miltenberger Jr., Anderson S. Miltenberger, Brandon R. Miltenberger, Ada D. Anderson and Levi R. Anderson; one brother, Marshall G. Folkes Jr. and his wife, Jean; brother-in-law, John C. Morgan; sister-in-law, Nancy Haga; stepchildren, Sally Driscoll, Randy Carroll and his wife, Laurie, Amy Carroll Payne and her husband, Eddie; five stepgrandchildren, four stepgreat-grandchildren; and six nephews, Claude "Woody" Anderson, Raymond Anderson, Morgan Anderson, Peyton Anderson, Marshall Folkes and Bruce Folkes. Anne worked as a receptionist for Napier ERA Realtors. She loved the beach, cooking and spending time with her family. Most importantly, she lived life to its fullest and loved her family and many, many dear friends. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday (today), at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to V.C.U.
