RENA BELL LETLOW HENDRIX


Rena Letlow Hendrix, 38, of Crossett, Arkansas, daughter of William T. Letlow and Minnie Lee Johnson Letlow, was born April 18, 1912 in Union County Arkansas, and died Saturday afternoon June 17, 1950, following a cerebral hemorrhage at her home. 


Rena is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Ara "Arrie" Letlow Gathright and Essie Letlow Head; and one brother, William M. Letlow.


She is survived by her seven dearly loved children, three daughters, Remona, Sylvia and Carolyn Hendrix, all of Crossett; four sons, Dewane, Willard, Kenneth and Charles Hendrix, all of Crossett; four sisters, Merrell Letlow Davis (Forrest), Amy Letlow Head (Garland), Doris Letlow and Dorothy Letlow, all of Start, Louisiana, and four brothers, Berry Letlow, John Letlow (Mary), both of Start, Louisiana, Elliott "Jiggs" Letlow (Florence), and Cloice Letlow (Florine), both of Rayville, Louisiana. 


Funeral services were held Monday, June 19, 1950, at Sweet Home Baptist Church near Strong, Arkansas, with burial following at Sweet Home Cemetery.
