Della A. Moritz, 96, of Mesa, Ariz., died Friday, Dec. 12, 2003, at Springdale West Nursing Home in Mesa.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Highland Park Cemetery in Ravenna. The Rev. Rod Pruss will officiate. Those attending should meet at Rasmussen Mortuary in Ravenna prior to service time.
Della Ann Moritz was born Nov. 7, 1907, at Farwell, to John and Mary Obermiller.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Moritz of Elk Grove, Calif., and Wayne Moritz of Buena Vista, Colo.; and two daughters, Marjorie Hulbert and Virginia Brown, both of Mesa, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis, on Jan. 27, 1991.
Other survivors include 22 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Della was educated in Farwell.
She married Francis Mortiz on Oct. 9, 1929, at Farwell. The couple made their home on a farm north of Ravenna. They moved to California in 1955.
She was a member of the Catholic Church.
Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Leonard; and three sisters and three brothers.
