Clarion Democrate Jan. 22, 1952 DANIEL R. GRAFF Daniel R. Graff, age 84, of Turnipole, former Clarion County Commissioner, died at 9:10 a.m. Sunday in his home following a long illness. A son of the late John T. and Mary Sterner Graff, he was born August 26, 1867 in Beaver Township, Clarion County. He was a member of Saint Paul's Reform Church and the Knox Lodge 594 I.O.O.F. For several terms he held the office of County Commissioner and he served as school director and tax collector in Licking Township for an number of years. On August 9, 1889 he was married to the former Ida Fry who died in 1928. Surviving are four children, Arthur at home, Mrs. John Raybuck of Emlenton RD, Mrs. Claude Ashbaugh of Knox RD, and Mrs. Reed Waddell of Athens, OH. Also surviving are 18 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Francis Stover of Edmond, OK, Mrs. Elsie Stover of Honedale, Idaho and a brother Lester Graff of San Luis Obispo, CA. The body was taken to the Mimm Funeral home, St. Petersburg and returned to the family home.
