Frank Alexander Funeral Service at Lincoln Today
Lincoln, Dec. 19 -- (Special.) -- Funeral services for the late Frank P. Alexander will be held at the Goff Funeral Home on Monday at 2 p.m. Rev. E. V. Young of the First Methodist church will be in charge of the services. The burial will take place in [Old] Union cemetery.

Phyllis Irene Alexander was born in Lincoln, Illinois September 11, 1896 and died December 26, 1897 making her 1 year, 3 months, 15 days old. She was the daughter of Frank P. and Zella Alexander.
Records show 3 boys were born to this union also as well as a daughter that died in infancy. Paul Edwin b. 1898, Claude Conrad b. 1900, and Harry Franklin b. 1909. At the time of Franklin Pierce Alexander's death only 2 sons survived.

Gravesite Details

Frank is buried in the "Wells" plot initially under massive trees but the trees are gone due to tornado in the cemetery. Stumps are still there.
