Olive and Leo were the parents of six children.

Olive loved to garden. Her favorite flowers were camelias and violets. Olive was also an expert seamstress and cook. When money was tight when the family lived near Chattanooga in Tennesse, she made quilts, comforters and clothes for people. Olive mad the most beautiful lace with a tatting shuttle.

Her many grandchildren spent lots of memorable holidays at her home. It was the place they all love most, and they all still miss their Grandma Meme.
