7 Nov 2006: Joan E. Holl, 66, Camp Hill, PA formerly of Honesdale, PA passed away Saturday, November 4, 2006 at Harrisburg Hospital. Born January 5, 1940 in Syracuse, NY, she was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Dickinson) Anderson. She was retired from Wayne-Highland School District. She attended Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Camp Hill, and was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, Honesdale. She was a member of the Honesdale Country Club, and a former member of Altar and Rosary Club. She enjoyed her coffee group get-togethers with her girlfriends, but her greatest joy was spending time with her children, son-in-law and grandchildren. She was the widow of Gerald J. Holl who passed away May 22, 2006. She is survived by her daughter Christine Holl Ridd, wife of James Ridd of Camp Hill; son Scott J. Holl of Camp Hill; and three adoring grandchildren, Joel, Molly, and Lilly Ridd. She is also survived by sister Barbara Jock, wife of Norman Jock of Camillus, NY. Funeral mass Friday, November 10, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Camp Hill, Father Michael Rothan officiating. Burial in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
