Betty Ann McCollum passed away November 5, 2006 in Oklahoma City after a short battle with cancer. She was born to Estelle and Verne Gregory on November 7, 1931 in Oklahoma City.

She graduated from Central High School in 1950 and married her high school sweetheart Gene McCollum on September 30 of that year. She worked for the Oklahoma Tax Commission for 25 years, retiring in 1993.

She was preceded in death by her eldest son Gene Edward 'Eddie' McCollum, Jr., her mother Estelle, her father Verne and her brother Charles Gregory.

She is survived by her husband Gene of Oklahoma City, 2 sons and daughters-in-law, 4 grandsons and a granddaughter-in-law, 2 great-grandchildren, and a brother. She was also blessed with many great friends who provided comfort and camaraderie through the years.

Services will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at 2 P. M. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home.
