Mary M. Brzezowski of Chester died on Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2006, at Hackensack University Medical Center. She was 47.
She was born on July 30, 1959, in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived in Chester with her family for the past 16 years. She previously lived in Roxbury Township.
Mrs. Brzezowski graduated from the College of St. Elizabeth, in the Convent Station section of Morris Township in 1980 with a degree in English and biology.
She graduated in 1981 from Columbia University in New York City with a master's degree in genetics.
She was a freelance medical writer and member of the American Medical Writers Association and the Morris Choral Society. She enjoyed writing and traveling.
Her father, Joseph Murgolo, died previously.
Survivors include her husband, Edward Brzezowski, of Chester; her daughter, Amanda Brzezowski, of Chester; her mother, Catherine Martucci Murgolo; her brother, Nicholas and his wife, Dorothea, of Millington; her sister, Catherine Murgolo, of Parsippany; and her niece, Sophia.
