Russell W. Rubadeux, 66, of west Toledo passed away Friday, October 27, 2006, surrounded by his loving children in the Odyssey House Hospice of Montgomery County in Conroe, TX. He was born February 22, 1940, in Toledo, OH, to Wesley R. and Delphine T. (Dryer) Rubadeux. Russ was a 1958 graduate of Whitmer Senior High School and a graduate of Owens Technical College. An employee of Owens-Illinois for 25 years, Russ was a Supervisor of Computer Operations. He was an active member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church and Holy Name Society. Russ enjoyed sports, hunting, fishing, automobiles, and most of all providing strong love and leadership to his family and friends. A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, Russ will be sadly missed by all who knew him. The widower of Sandra S. Rubadeux who passed away June 22, 2004, after 39 years of marriage, Russ was the loving father of son, David (Kelly) Rubadeux, of Charlotte, NC; daughters, Debbie (Keith) Leonard, and Dara Rubadeux of Magnolia, TX; brother, Bruce Rubadeux of Sterling Heights, MI; sister, Karan (Walter) Kapszukiewicz of Toledo; grandchildren, Derek Rubadeux, Cody Leonard and Kaitlyn Rubadeux; sister-in-law, Barbara (Jose) Sanchez; brother-in-law, Nicholas (Roberta) Miller; nephews, Wade, Larry, John, Robert, James, and Nico; nieces, Kari, Lisa, Becky, and Lili; special friends, Thomas and Dorothy Dalton, Frank and Diane O'Konski, Steve and Jeanne Sparks, and Don Reighard. A Memorial Mass will be held at Regina Coeli Church on Friday, November 10, 2006, at 10 a.m. with Rev. James Auth presiding. Entombment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. Arrangements are being handled by Sujkowski Funeral Home, Northpointe, 114-128 E. Alexis Rd.
