Kathryn Eleanor Gilbert, 62 year old resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma died June 10, 2016 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Kathryn was born October 15, 1953 to Benjamin Fluke and Eleanor Rodgers in Union Town, Pennsylvania.
She was united in marriage with Darrell Gilbert on December 22, 1973 in Tulsa. Kathryn was a homemaker and was of the Christian faith and a member of Woodland Acres Baptist Church in Tulsa. She was preceded in death by her father.
Those family members who survivor Kathryn include her husband of over 42 years, Darrell of the home in Tulsa; mother, Eleanor Rodgers; two sons, Darren Gilbert and Shawn Gilbert both of Sapulpa; one daughter, Karyn Fox of Tulsa; three brothers, Rodger Fluke and Jon Fluke both of Oroville, California, and Daniel Fluke of Kansas City, Missouri; two sisters, Marie Martin of Oroville, California and Becky Lechner of Duncanville, Pennsylvania; and 5 grandchildren.
Funeral services 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Woodland Acres Baptist Church, 5511 South Harvard Avenue, Tulsa, Oklahoma 75135. Pastor Kris Haymes will officiate. Interment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery.
