MILDRED E. 'MICKEY' MORIARTY, 70, of Memphis, retired physical education teacher and guidance counselor for Treadwell High School after 31 years, died of cancer Tuesday at her home. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Park. Memorial Park Funeral Home has charge.
She received a bachelor of science degree from Memphis State University and a master's degree from the University of Mississippi.
She leaves her mother, Bertha Milhorne Moriarty of Memphis, and a sister, Margaret M. Rowell of Morehouse, Mo.
The family requests that any memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society.
