Ammons, Betty A., age 78, of Knoxville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 9, 2015. She was a faithful member of West Haven Baptist Church and a prior member of Sutherland Ave. Baptist Church where she loved to sing. She was the loving wife of Kenneth R. Ammons for 10 years, and was widowed by Paul Baker to whom she was married for 47 years. She was the daughter of Harry E. and Arlie May Ferguson. Survived by daughter, Ruthann Baker; son, Joe and Pam Baker; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; special thanks to the Bible Learners Sunday School Class for all their love and support. The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 pm Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Dr. Graveside service will follow in Lynnhurst Cemetery at 2 pm with special friends, Fred Crawford and Mary Lynn Moore officiating.
