Dan Hardin Funeral Today

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, at South Yarbro Funeral Home Chapel, for Dan Waggoner (Wag) Hardin, 68, who died just after ten o'clock Sunday morning, at his home, 415 South Third Street following a heart attack.

Otis Batley, Baptist minister, will officiate. Burial will be in the Lovington Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Corkey Andrus, Lawrence Ray Andrus, Bob Conley, Dean Goff, Crawford Culp and Dub Hardin. All of his many friends will be honorary pallbearers.

The deceased was born November 25, 1894 in Beaver, TX and had lived 61 years of his 68 years in this area. He was a retired rancher.

Survivors are his wife, Anna Belle; two sons, Daymon Hardin, Lovington, and Ross Hardin, Washington DC; a step-son, Bill Huckabee, in the US Navy; one brother, OG Hardin, Lovington; and four grandchildren, Jan, Dan, Roy D and Noel.
