MARTIN LOUIS MENSCH , 59, passed away at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Sterling public hospital following an illness of three weeks. He had been in the hospital the last eight days. The remains were removed to the Trouth funeral home where friends may call. Funeral arrangements are pending word from relatives in Oklahoma. Mr. Mensch was born March 23, 1885, in Kansas, the son of Martin L. and Alice Petty Mensch. He spent most of his life in this vicinity. Recently he had resided at the Sterling Inn and for eight months was employed at the Northwestern Steel and Wire Co. Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Lillian Henderson and four brother, William, Calvin, Charles and Melvin Mensch, all of Stroud Okla. He also leaves several cousins in Sterling. Second Notice: Funeral Services for Martin L. Mensch, who passed away at the Sterling public hospital Tuesday morning, were held at the Trouth funeral home at 1:30 Thursday afternoon, Rev. Albert H. Keck, Jr., conducting the rites. Dora Wiles presided at the organ. The pallbearers were Charles H. Mannon, Chris Jensen, E.G. Edlin, Dan Ebersole, James Young and Charles Deets. Interment was in Riverside cemetery.
