Ms. Cindy Adams, age 90, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, April 22, 2016.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at Woodfork Chapel AME Church. Pastor Randall Webster will officiate.

The family will receive visitors 4-6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, and again one hour prior to service at the church on Wednesday.

She was born January 1, 1926, in Bedford County, to the late Fred and Nellie Bell Adams, Sr. She was a faithful member of Woodfork Chapel AME Church where she served on the steward board and as church treasurer for over 50 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred Adams, Jr. and Jesse "Cookie" Adams, and a sister, Martha Ann Adams.

Survivors include a daughter, Cynthia Ann Adams, and a grandson, Phillip Adams; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Feldhaus Memorial Chapel assisted the family with the arrangements.
