Rosemary V. Aita, 73, Shawnee, died Dec. 6, 1992, at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Shawnee; burial in Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Amos Family Chapel, Shawnee, where the rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. The family suggests contributions to Cancer Action Inc.

Mrs. Aita was a lifelong area resident. Her husband, Francis Aita, died in 1972.

Survivors include two sons, Paul B. Aita and James R. Aita of Kansas City, Kan.; two daughters, Mary F. Gray, Shawnee, and Karen J. Wright, Greenup, Ill.; two brothers, Bernard J. McWilliams, Kansas City, Kan., and Robert J. McWilliams, Raytown; two sisters, Virginia M. Bergman, Shawnee, and Jeanette C. Geier, Kansas City; six grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; and a stepgreat-grandson.
