Service for Ola Mae Dodd, 91, of Alvord was Friday, Jan. 30, at the First Baptist Church in Alvord. The Rev. Bill Cleveland officiated. Burial followed at Alvord Cemetery.

Dodd died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2004, in Bridgeport.

She was born Jan. 31, 1912, in Wise County. She married Alvis Thomas Dodd on July 24, 1931. She was a lifetime resident of Wise County, a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Alvord and the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her daughter, Alva Dean Denney; a sister, Chrystine Dunnigan; two brothers, Clois and Amos Hanner and a grandson, Bret Dodd.

She is survived by two sons, James Dodd and wife, Bobette, of North Richland Hills and Pat Dodd and wife, Carla, of Enid, Okla.; five grandchildren, Peggy Bradley, Bobby Lynn Denney, Christopher Dodd, Brandon Dodd and Dena Worlund; seven great-grandchildren, Stephanie Bradley, Nicole Dodd, Jessica Denney, Dustin Dodd, Drew Dodd, Colton Dodd and Sheldon Worlund; brother, Jay Hanner of Baird; sister, Melba Jeane Keith of Amarillo and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Brandon Dodd, Greg Worlund, Leonard Denney, Bruce Nivens, Pat Garrett and Melton Neighbors.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Alvord Building Fund.
