Rev. L.A. Reavis, 94, father of Mrs. Homer Taylor of Clarendon and a former resident, died Sunday night at Wichita Falls. Funeral services and burial were held Tuesday at Sweetwater.
Rev. Reavis was pastor of numerous Methodist Churches in the area over the years. Mr. and Mrs. Taylor attended services.
Survivors include L.A. Reavis, Jr. of Houston; C.L. Reavis of Shamrock; Raymond Reavis of Sunnyside, Washington; Hollis Reavis of Childress; Mrs. R.B. Carter and Mrs. Daily Vandergrif both of Lubbock; Mrs. F.H. Sitton of Hot Springs, Ark.; Mrs. Ira Barry of Springdale, Ark.; Mrs. A.A. Richardson, Wichita Falls; Mrs. Homer Taylor of Clarendon; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
