Cotton Exporter's Funeral Rites Set Today at S'water
Sweetwater, Oct. 19 - Funeral for C. M. (Jack) Arbaugh, prominent cotton exporter, was to be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the First Christian Church here.
Mr. Arbaugh, who had been ill only a short time, died Monday in Sweetwater Hospital.
He was owner of C. M. Arbaugh Cotton Company here and had lived in Sweetwater about 32 years.
Mr. Arbaugh would have observed his 56th birthday Sunday, having been born Oct. 24, 1898 in Avalon, Tex.
The Rev. R. H. Chilton was to conduct final rites and Patterson Funeral Home was to direct burial in the Garden of Memories.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Charles Arbaugh of Sweetwater; one daughter, Anne Arbaugh of Sweetwater; his mother, Mrs. M. E. Arbaugh of Fort Worth; one brother, N. L. Arbaugh of Wichita Falls; and one sister, Mrs. C. F. Baker of Fort Worth.
Pallbearers will be Dell Cox, Oscar Jones, Don Brock, Foster Miller, L. L. Armor, H. W. Broughton, B. C. Pace and Talmige McDonald.
