Mearl Grubaugh
Mearl Grubaugh, 73, of rural Perrinton, passed away Feb 24 at Haynes-Grunbuch Hospital in Charlotte. She was born in Michigan on July 12, 1899, to Phillip and Nellie Helms Peters. Her husband Lawrence Grubaugh preceded her in death. She is survived by 2 daughters, Eva Hodges of Stanton and Joanne Peterman of Lansing; a son, Lawrence R. of Bellevue; 5 sisters, Mrs. Ester Wright of Lansing, Mrs.Ruth Fisk of Mason, Mrs. Marion Fisk of Marion, Mrs. Eunice Baker and Mrs. Evelyn Stead, both of Perrinton; and 3 brothers, Joe Peters of Crystal, Alfred of Lansing, and Luie of Ithaca. Funeral services were held Feb 26 from the Dodge Funeral Home of Middleton. Rev Silas Foltz of the United Methodist Church in Pompeii officiated at burial in Fulton Center Cemetery.
