Robert Harold Bennett, 79, of Vian,Oklahoma died Saturday, June 11, 2016 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He was born April 14, 1937 in Stoney Point community, Vian, Oklahoma the son of Walter Nathan Bennett and Sybil (Bruton) Bennett Moore. He was married to Wanda Sue Hutchings on August 31. 1958 in Vian, Oklahoma. He was a Supervisor at Frontier Terminal and a Baptist.

2 sons: Bob Bennett of Muskogee, OK and Matt and Theresa Bennett of Florida
2 daughters: Pam and Stu Shutts of Leavenworth, KS
and Shawna Allen of Muskogee, OK
5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren
3 sisters: Virginia Swimmer of Vian, OK, June Petty of Tulsa, OK and Norma Jean Roach of Tahlequah, OK
Daughter in law: Mona Bennett of Vian, OK
He was preceded in death by his son, Roy Bennett; his parents, Walter Bennett and Sybil Moore; and 3 brothers: Bruton, Fay and Nathan Bennett
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Vian, OK.
Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
