Anna J. Trimmer Adams, 68, died Saturday, December 21, 2002, at 5 a.m. at her residence. She was the wife of the late Edward P. Adams.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, at 10 a.m., at WorkingerSemmel Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc., 849 E. Market St. Interment will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be 9 to 10 a.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Adams was born January 3, 1934 in York. She was a daughter of the late John H. Updike and of the late Emmaline R. (Kibler) Goodling.

Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Adams was a tacker with Danskin Inc. for 17 years. Surviving are four daughters, Susan E. Cowburn, Windsor, Roxanne C. Hagarman and Brenda J. Burhans, both of Etters and Deborah R. Wolf, Gardners; three sons, Clair E. Trimmer, Jr., Red Lion, Ronald A. Trimmer and Jeffrey L. Trimmer, both of York; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Roseleen Boogaard, Aberdeen, Md; a step father, Edward S. Goodling, York; three step daughters, Barbara Naftal, Fla, Patricia Chronister, York and Judy Poe, Dover; one step son, Scott Adams, Delta; six step grandchildren.
