Sarah Ellen "Ella" Dickson, wife of James William Sorden is our Father (ARCH'S) Mother.
She had 4 brothers & one sister. Her Father Robert was a Civil War Veteran. Carol Sorden Watson traveled to visit his war site in Tennessee, & to visit the cemetery where he is buried in Oklahoma. I applied for & received a beautiful white marble headstone from the Govt. For his Civil War Service. Carol visited Grandmother Sordens gravesite in Mesa, Az many times.
Grandma Sorden lived with us before she had to be put in a resthome before she died. I was 16 years old, & I remember combing Grandma's long hair. I stayed with her in California & she took me shopping & made me drink Postom.. yuk.. Carol Sorden Watson
