He was born March 24, 1925 in West Los Angeles, Calif. To Curtis and Florence Parrish Maxon.
Mr. Maxon served in the U.S. Navy during World War 11. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He was a past county supervisor for Paradise-Thermalito County and past chairman of the Butte County, Calif. Board of Supervisors. Mr. Maxon was a retired contractor.
Mr. Maxon came to Carson City from Oroville, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Among his survivors are his daughter Jean Maxon of California, his sisters; Ethel Jacobsen and Miriam Hovercroft of Eugene Ore., and Jean Haldeman of Surprize, Ariz., and his brother Edward W. Maxon of Calimesa, Calif.
Burial will be held at a later date at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Eugene, Ore.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Cemetery And Mausoleum of Carson City is in Charge of arrangements.
