Daughter of Dock Solomon & Elizabeth Ferlinia "Lizzie" (ROBINSON) SIZEMORE. Married 20 DEC 1911 at "Sizemore Town," Chattahoochee County, Georgia, to Thomas Clarke PATE, her first cousin, once removed. Mother of three children, all sons. Kate is said to have scratched a pimple and died from blood poisoning. She was originally interred in Johnson Cemetery (now Ft. Benning private cemetery #44) in Chattahoochee County, but her grave was moved and is said to have been the first burial in the cemetery of the Mt. Paron Church at its present (third) location at Box Springs in Talbot County, Georgia.
