MOUNT JOY David L. Fox, Sr., 57, died of injuries he sustained in a motorcycle accident on March 15, 2008, in East Donegal Township. He was married to Karen Hoffer Fox for 40 years in February.
An ardent sportsman, Dave was a member of the Milton Grove and Conewago Sportsman's Club, a life member of the NRA and member of the National Muzzleloader Association. A fly fisher, he regularly tied and fished his own patterns. Dave was employed by BAE Systems of York as a certified welder.
Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Alice M. Fitzkee Cooter and William C. Cooter. In addition to his wife Karen, he is survived by a son, David L. Jr., married to Deb Ulrich Fox of Lititz; and a granddaughter, Patty Leid.
