Carol Mae Wondergem, age 73 of Rockford, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2016. Carol was born in Cannon Township, MI on July 20, 1942 to Herman and Hazel (Blomley) Keiser and grew up on the family farm. She graduated from Rockford High School in 1961 and also from Beauty School in Grand Rapids. Carol worked as a beautician for several years in the area and also at Meijer on Plainfield for 20 years retiring in 2006. She was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Gladys and Lambert Van Eerden, and her brothers-in-law, Rich Rosenzweig and Dale Wondergem. Carol is survived by her husband of almost 53 years, Jack Wondergem; her daughters: Shawna and James Andrews III, and Marjo and Greg Van Heulen; her grandchildren: James Andrews IV, Brennen Andrews, Garret Van Heulen, and Austin Van Heulen; her sisters and brother, Mildred Rosenzweig, Edward and Sonja Keiser, Florence and John Kitler, and Sharon and Wendell Vander Meulen; her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Jerry Wondergem, Janice and Leonard Goodell, Gary and Ermal Wondergem, and Luanne and Dave Gould; and also her nieces and nephews.
