Benjamin Dwayne Pollard, 16 months old, beloved son of Stephen and Christine Pollard, passed away in his sleep, unexpectedly.
In Little Ben's short life, he touched so many with his beautiful smile, his unbridled spirit of adventure and a zest for life, that far exceeded his young age. In a world too often touched by darkness, Benjamin's smile cast a ray of exquisite sunshine on all who had the good fortune to play with him, to hold him, to love him.
Ben is survived by: father, Stephen Pollard; mother, Christine Pollard; and brother, Alexander Pollard of Tulsa; his paternal grandmother, Judy and her husband, Larry Doyle, known to the boys as Warry; his great-grandpa, Cecil E. Potts of Tulsa; his uncle, Michael Pollard; and aunt, Anne Pollard from Tulsa; his maternal grandparents, Robert and Pat Jordan, Roy and Joanie Ashford of Mississippi; his aunt, Kim Marshall; and cousin, Nathan; and Benjamin's paternal grandpa and namesake, Dwayne C. Pollard, who preceded him and in our hearts, we know, holds little Ben in his arms.
Services were held on, Saturday, November 4, 2006 at First Presbyterian Church, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
