Brink, Jean Ann (Pierce) Born in Elmira, NY, September 14, 1938, passed away June 4, 2016, at Elcor Health Services, Horseheads. Daughter of the late Arnold and Rowena Roll Pierce. Married to Carlton Jay Brink who predeceased her on Father's Day, June 16, 1997. Jean was also predeceased by brother, Edwin Arnold Pierce. Mother of Wendy Chasteen, Elmira, NY, Danny Brink, Savona, NY, Sherry (Paul) Kast, Bloomfield, NY, Kelly and Rose Brink, Staatsburg, NY, Carl and Geri Brink, Savona, NY, and Stacy Brink, Elmira, NY, 28 grand and great grandchildren. Jean Ann was an active member of Oakwood United Methodist Church in Elmira Heights, NY (previously at Riverside Methodist, Elmira, NY). She loved to cook and loved cats, one of which she gave to Pastor Fred Dyer at the parsonage since she moved and couldn't have animals. Missing her are two sisters, Shirley Brink and Eleanor (Lou) Kimber, who enjoyed the chatter and laughter that was always there at get together's. A Celebration of her Life will be held Saturday, July 9th at 1:00pm at Oakwood United Methodist, Elmira, NY. –Elmira Star-Gazette 6/12/2016
