Glenna L. Murray, 69, of 53 Skyline Drive, died Monday at her son's home after a long illness.
She was born in Manchester, the daughter of the late Joseph and Phylena (Noyes) Abbott. She resides in Derry for several years and was a resident of Concord for most of her life.
Before her retirement, she was employed by the N.H. Hospital in the transportation department for over 20 years. She was involved in moving patients all over the New England area.
She was predeceased by her Husband, Walter Murray, who died in 1987.
She is survived by four sons, Frank Preston of Manchester, Ronald Preston of Concord, Frederick Preston of Spokane, Wash., and Robbie Murray of Hill; two daughters, Grace Green of Manchester and Madeline Langevin of Manchester; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one sister, Natalie Puglisa of Newburryport, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be today at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main St., Concord. The Rev. Ralph Hirtle will officiate. Burial will follow in Blossom Hill Cemetery.
