Mrs. Pearl Tracy, Rt. 1, Forrest City, died Sunday at the Forrest Hospital. Mrs. Tracy, 79, had suffered a stroke two weeks ago.
Born December 14, 1891 in Huntsville, Alabama, she was the daughter of Lucy Ragsdale Adair and Jack Adair.
A Methodist, Mrs. Tracy was marrried to Lon Tracy.
Survivors include five sons, Aubrey Tracy, of Dundee, Illinois, Darnell Tracy of Elgin, Illinois, Bernard Tracy of Forrest City, James Lloyd Tracy of Elgin, Illinois, and Ronald Tracy also of Elgin, Illinois; four daughters, Mrs. Lorene Brown of Forrest City, Mrs. Ernestine Everett of Memphis, Mrs. Ann Bender, Pasadena, Cali., Mrs. Betty Jean Brown of S. Elgin, Illinois; four brothers, Owen Adair of Forrest City, Andrew Adair of Orange Grove, California, William Adair of San Diego, California, and Fred Adair of Fresno, California; 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Tracy will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Parker in charge of services. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery
