10/12/70-Miss Ibbie E.McCrary, 81, a descendant of early pioneers of this region, died early Monday morning at Sibley Hospital in Washington, D.C., after a long illness. She had resided in Washington since 1918, and was a file clerk. She was born in Forrest City on Mar.8, 1889, and was the daughter of Victoria Kirby McCrary and Milus Reubin.McCrary. She leaves three sisters, Mrs.Ruth Dew of Monticello; Mrs.Susie McCrary and Mrs.Mittie Barton, both of Forrest City, and many nieces and nephews. Services for Miss McCrary were held at Stevens Funeral Home on Wednesday, with Rev.Lester Beaman officiating, burial was in Mt.Vernon cemetery.
