His new wife also had a daughter named Violet. Violet Belle was then called Belle. She once said she not only lost her mother, she also lost her name.
First marriage was to Leon William Haws in 1917. That marriage ended in divorce.
Second marriage was to Franklin LeRoy Swasey in 1942.
Grandma Belle died in Alton, Illinois and is buried at the Worden Cemetery. There is a cenotaph at Mona Cemetery, Mona, Juab, Utah, Memorial #64587145, under the name Violet Swasey.∼
