Former Johnston County resident John Wood Adams, Jr., 66, of Norman, died Tuesday June 8, in Norman Municipal Hospital.
Rosary was last Wednesday in the Crystal Chapel of Wilson Funeral Service and a funeral Mass Thursday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Vas officiating at both services. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Nettie of the home; two sons, Jerry and Paul, both of Norman; a daughter, Dianne Henderson of Dallas, Tex; three sisters, Isabelle Adams and May Dewberry, both of Dallas, and Agnes Crowley of Kentucky; two brothers, Bill and Mark, both of Dallas; and four grandchildren.
The family designated that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association.
