Ethel Elliott, 81, of Route 4, Greenville, died Monday at 3:30 a.m. in a Greenville hospital.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sorrells & Sons Chapel with the Rev. Harry Ball officiating. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery with relatives serving as pallbearers.
Mrs. Elliott was born at Irondale, Mo., June 17, 1899, the daughter of Joseph and Louise Turnbo Ash. She married James M. Elliott Feb. 20, 1926. Mrs. Elliott was a Baptist church member.
Survivors include a son, James M. Elliott Jr. of Greenville; daughters, Lois Bakkum of Greenville and Mildred Grissom of Hot Springs, Ark.; and eight grandchildren. Mrs. Elliott was preceded in death by her husband on Feb. 7 and by three brothers.
Arrangements are under the direction of Sorrells & Sons Funeral Home.
