Acton, Mr. Aaron Thomas, age 58, of Mobile, Ala., formerly of Birmingham, passed away Monday morning in a Mobile hospital. Survived by wife Mrs. Emma H. Acton; mother, Mrs. G. C. Acton, Sr., of Birmingham; 2 sisters, Mrs. J. C. Conway, of Birmingham, and Mrs. C. W. Barefield, of Mobile; 1 brother, George C. Acton, Jr., of Birmingham; number of other relatives. Funeral services at 2 p.m. Wednesday from Johns-Ridout's West Chapel, the Rev. Eldon Berry officiating, interment Elmwood Cemetery. Johns-Ridout's, 2116 8th Ave., S., directing.
