Son of Arthur Marquis Losey and Edna G. Lohse, husband of Helen Willi, whom he married on October 12, 1957 in Smithtown, New York, and father of Mark Arthur Losey.

Robert Arthur Losey, aged 66 years, born October 10, 1933, in Bay Shore, NY, was the son of Arthur M. Losey and Edna G. Lohse. He was a Corporal in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, serving from July 16, 1953 until May 19, 1955, and at the time of his death was shown to be a bus, truck and stationary engine mechanic for the water industry. He died at the Craven Regional Medical Center on November 8, 1999 and was cremated on November 10, 1999. It was stated that he was buried in the Losey Family Cemetery in New Bern, N.C.
