"A Funeral service for the family of Miladie Clara Kristinek, 101, of Temple will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Deacon Bob George officiating. Burial will be in Seaton Cemetery.
Mrs. Kristinek died Friday in a Temple Nursing Home.
Mrs. Kristinek was born July 6, 1915 in Seaton to Joe A. Bartek and Albina Krahulik Bartek. She attended Lost Prairie School. She lived in the Temple area all of her life. She married William “Bill” Burnet Kristinek August 11, 1936. She was a homemaker. He preceded her in death November 8, 1974.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 1820 and the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion. She had been a member of the Catholic Daughters of America.
Mrs. Kristinek was also preceded in death by a son Williams Joe Kristinek and one grandson Hugh Brian Boston three brothers Amos Bartek, Robert 'Bob' Bartek and Jerry Bartek, three sisters Millie Jakubek, Vallie Morisak and Bessie Divis Grams.
Survivors include two daughters Carol Kristinek Walton of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida and Nancy Kristinek Boston of Temple; one son Frank A. Kristinek of Oscar; ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Catholic School, Temple, Texas or to the Charity of Choice.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Sunday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home."
