He was born in Scitico, Conn., June 13, 1892, the son of Miles and Susan (Robertson) Askew. He married the former Anna Milefski Nov. 18, 1919. A veteran of World War I, he served on the Mexican border with Cook 104th regiment, 26th infantry division.
Survivors include his widow of 171 Avenue A and a brother Earl, of Brockton.
Funeral arrangements are being made by the McCarthy funeral home.
