Abie was born on March 24 1936 in Louisville Illinois the son of John and Grace (Cardin) Whipple. He married Laura Etta Hutton on may 1 1959 at McCardell illinois.Abie loved playing horseshoes and going to the boat and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife Laura Whipple of Laclede Illinois. four son's. Abie Whipple Jr. (wife Vicki) Terry Whipple (wife Amy) ,Bobby Whipple (wife Patsy) , Affred Whipple (wife Melissa ) all of Laclede . I'll Daughters Brenda Whipple (George ) of LaClede ill. Ellie oaks (husband Randy) of LaClede ill.Wanda Newell (husband Adam)of Bloomfield Missouri .Mary Lou VanMeter ( husband George ) of Watson ill. Angel whipple of LaClede Ill.Luabelle Reid (husbandPaul) of LaClede Ill.Una Newell ( husband Joeye) of LaClede Ill. and Linda Oaks (husband John) of Terre Haute In. 24 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Abie was preceded in death by his parents , John and Grace whipple ; Son Lonnie whipple; two brothers, Mallet and Valle Whipple Five Sisters ,Edna collins Wanda Moore , Daisy Colcott, Lulabll Collins, Kate Batchelor and one son-in-law John Thomas
