KENYON -- The funeral for Verdella Ella Maymie Bahls will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. Paul's Lutheran Church-Evergreen in rural Frazee, Minn., with the Rev. Del Meyer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Bahls, 79, of Perham, Minn., died Saturday (Oct. 28, 2006) at the Perham Memorial Hospital. She is the mother of Alice (Selmer) Syverson of Kenyon and the grandmother of Steven Syverson of Rochester.
She also is survived by one other daughter, a son, nine other grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Adolph, a son and a sister.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Schoeneberger Funeral Home in Perham, and an hour before the service at the church.
