Ruth Marie Foltz beloved wife, mother, and grandmother peacefully passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Golden Living Center after a long illness. Ruth was born in Richmond, Ind. on December 29, 1940 to John and Elizabeth Behnen and lived there all her life. She was 75 years old.
Ruth was a 1958 graduate of Richmond High School. She married Harry Foltz on October 1, 1960 and was homemaker most of her life raising her three children. Ruth was employed at Second National Bank as a teller and bookkeeper and at Seton East Catholic School as a secretary. Her memberships included Holy Family Catholic Church as well as a 57-year life member of Delta Theta Tau philanthropic sorority, PI Chapter. She enjoyed visiting the elderly and collecting clothes and baby items for Birthright.
Survivors include her husband Harry, daughters Julie (Greg) and Vickie, son Kevin; grandchildren Dustin and Chelsea; siblings Bill, Paul, Phil, and Alice; close family and friends.
Friends may call from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 8th at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Thursday, June 9th at 10 a.m
