Loving Grandfather of Isabella, Julia, Noah, Drew, Gabriel, Sophia, Chase, Ruby and Violet. Robert served on the Newton Police Dept for 25 years, earning the rank of sergeant. He also served on the Newton Board of Aldermen for 2 terms and in the US Marine Corps.
Visiting hours in the Andrew J. Magni & Son Funeral Home, 365 Watertown St, Rt. 16, Newton, Monday, Nov. 30, from 4-8PM and again Tuesday morning at 9:30AM, before proceeding to Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 573 Washington St, Newton for a 10:30AM Funeral Mass. Burial to follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Falmouth.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert's name may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Ave, Boston, MA 02215.
