Rick B. Snellings passed away August 24, 2007, due to an accident doing what he loved best, playing golf. He was born December 29, 1939 in Sarasota, Florida. He is survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, Penny; daughter, Sheri Dixon and her husband Jim and their son Chandler; son, Todd Snellings and his wife Pam; son, David Snellings and his daughters Jamie and Ashley; mother, Zetta Snellings; sister, Jennie Wingfield and her husband Damon and their children Ed Wingfield, Steve Wingfield, and Jane Douglass; brother, Joe Snellings and his wife Nancy and their children Jennifer Starling and Joe Snellings; brotherin-law, Gary Nixon and his wife Mary and their children Gary Nixon Jr. and Kary Ann Nixon; and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father, F.W. (Duke) Snellings. Rick retired from Bunzl USA in 1999 after a 25 year career, the last 6 years as President of Bunzl USA. He was an avid golfer and world traveler and will be greatly missed by family and friends.Services will be at Matthews Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 29, 2007, at 1:00 pm, located at 601 S. Kelly in Edmond, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, donations to Peppers Ranch Inc., P.O. Box 3814, Edmond, OK 73083 or Queen of Peace, 325 N. Newstead, St. Louis, MO 63108 would be appreciated.
