HARLINGEN – E.L. Teddlie, 75, of Harlingen, died at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Clyde H. Jordan, in La Feria, after a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 4:30 p.m. at the Stolter-Burdette chapel here, with services to be conducted by Rev. Bolton Boone, Harlingen Methodist pastor, assisted by Rev. J.C. Lovern, La Feria Methodist pastor. Internment will be in the Harlingen cemetery.

The deceased had lived in the Valley for the past 16 years, coming here from Louisiana. For many years, he farmed near Primera.

Survivors are a son, R.E. Teddlie of Houston, and two daughters, Mrs. Clyde H. Jordan of La Feria and Mrs. G. Max Miller of Tacoma, Wash.

Pallbearers will be Dr. W.M. Driskill, George Pletcher, George Phillips, Charles Brown, Fred Downing and Gerald McKenna.
