EVERETT T. MAXFIELD
LYMAN, Wyo. -- Everett Tripp Max-
field, 71, of Lyman, died Friday in an
Ogden Hospital of natural causes.
He was born June 26, 1902, in Murray,
the son of John Franklin and Lucy Tripp
Maxfield.
He was married to Sarah Afton Syme
on June 25, 1924, in the Salt Lake LDS
Temple.
He was a Bridger Valley rancher.
Surviving are his widow, three sons
and three daughters, Alden Maxfield,
Vernal; Lewis Maxfield, Darius Max-
field, Mrs. Henry (Karen) Lee, all of
Lyman; Mrs. Joe (Dorothy) Anderson,
Ogden; Mrs. Robert (Gloria) Pinney,
Murray; 27 grandchildren; four great-
grandchildren; one brother and four
sisters, Keith Maxfield, Mrs. Ruby Brin-
ton, both of Lyman; Mrs. Fred (Jessie)
Jackman, Mrs. Earl (Alice) Johnson,
Mrs. Elmer (Lucy) Johnson, all of Mur-
ray.
Funeral services will be held Monday
at 2 p.m. in the Lyman LDS Ward
Chapel.
Friends may call at the Gilbert Bills
Funeral Home in Evanston, Wyo., Sun-
day from 7 to 9 p.m. and at the chapel
Monday two hours prior to services.
Burial will be in the Lyman City Ceme-
tery.
